What is Brigantine Meridian?
Brigantine Meridian is a small online magazine about swimwear and beach fashion, edited from Echizen in Fukui Prefecture for readers who plan trips around Japan's coasts and islands. It exists because coverage tends to fall into two camps: high-fashion swimwear that few people will ever buy, and haul videos that teach little. We try to sit in between and treat a swimsuit like any other garment, looking at cut, fabric, colour and how it behaves after a week of salt water and sun. Alongside the articles we offer written and video styling help to readers who want a second opinion before a trip.
